Thursday, October 16th, 2008. IPA Region Five Open "Oktoberfest" Meeting. North Bellmore Firehouse on Newbridge Rd. Meeting starts at 1930 hours. Scholarships and raffles winners will be selected. German food, music and beer. 50/50 raffle. 

October 7-11, 2008. National Delegate's Conference (NDC) held in Colorado Springs. Visit the International website for more details.

So far, 2008 is proving to be a good year for recruitment. We have had great success in signing up new members. Special thanks are in order to Steve Ryan for signing up 20 new members this month.

Applications and raffle tickets for the 2008-2009 Academic Scholarships will be going out in the mail in the near future. Keep an eye on your mailbox. Once again, we will be awarding four scholarships to the children and grandchildren of our members. Members must have been fully paid for the preceding twelve month period.
